Forever Sweater
A celebration of things made by hand, with care. Directed by François Larpin and shot on 35mm, it follows two women, each distinct in character and spirit, through a playful study of effort, movement and ritual. Every stunt is real, from handstands to a leap off a trampoline, performed by a crew of specialists. Working out in knitwear: it seems slightly absurd, yet somehow right. Made with an analogue approach and a roll-call of collaborators, from the storyboards to the musical score, the film reflects the way we make our knitwear: with care, character and a belief that how something is created matters.
Knitwear Foundations
The women are dressed in Knitwear Foundations, the signature shapes that define the &Daughter wardrobe. Made from Responsible Wool Standard certified lambswool by the family-run mills and makers in Scotland and Ireland we have worked with from the start, each piece is knitted in sections, then linked and finished by hand.

Faithful pieces to return to, time and time again. Foundations are our twelve signature shapes, each with its own character, revisited in new yarns, colours and patterns. Polos, crews, cardigans and chore jackets made with care in Scotland and Ireland. Together they form a complete wardrobe — the fullest expression of the Forever Sweater.
